As this month comes to an end, I wanted to take the time to share a few highlights of the two trips I took this month with my amazing friends! In my previous posts, I shared the top things to do in Myrtle Beach, SC and Blue Ridge, GA, because I was headed to both places. Here’s are a few highlights from both trips. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom for a special treat!
BEST SCENIC VIEW

The Airbnb homes we booked in Myrtle Beach and Blue Ridge were stunning! Between the two, the cabin in Blue Ridge had the best scenic view because we could see the mountains. (I love a good mountain view)! Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. Waking up to the view of the mountains is an experience in itself. Even though the weather wasn’t the best when we first arrived, we got great views before we left.
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL

There is a restaurant on Main Street in Blue Ridge called Southern Charm, and it is a must-visit! Everything we ordered was delicious, and I wish they were open before we left so we could have gone back (they are closed on Sundays). It was so hard to choose between ordering pork chop, smothered fried steak, meatloaf, or any of the options on the menu. I ended up getting a generous portion of meatloaf! We left full and satisfied!
MOST RELAXING MOMENTS

Both Airbnbs on these trips had hot tubs! Although the wind was not on our side in both locations, it was stronger in Blue Ridge. Still, soaking in the warmth while surrounded by nature was one of my favorite ways to relax this month. We spent too much time relaxing in the hot tub, so I only have this photo from Blue Ridge.
MOST PHOTOGENIC LOCATION

Tupelo Honey in Myrtle Beach’s Market Common area is an excellent spot for Southern-inspired dishes (I head sweet-tea fried chicken and collards), and the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant has bright decor making it a great place for selfies and group shots!
FAVORITE ADVENTURE

I mentioned this in my post about Myrtle Beach – Duplin Winery is one of my favorite places to visit while in Myrtle Beach! From the wine tastings, to the wine-inspired souvenirs, to the bar where you can buy glasses of wine, it’s such a relaxing adventure to experience. Although Duplin was busy with many visitors, we were able to secure seats near the firepit (it was chilly/foggy the day we went) before leaving.
Cheers to more adventures in March!

WATCH MY TRAVEL VLOGS
Sooooo, I did a thing! During both trips, I pulled out my camera and recorded. I still need to get used to pulling it out to record, and I’m still working on my editing skills, but I’m proud of myself for trying and can’t wait to create more!
